On mobile, when you’re in a voice channel/voice call, you can tap on the user’s icon and then change the Volume Settings directly.įor those of you that have installed our desktop client on your Mac or Windows' desktop, here are some troubleshooting steps that might be able to help you out! Initial Steps for Desktop Users.On Desktop or Browser, you can right click the user’s icon and then change the User Volume using the volume slider in the menu.If you’re not able to hear a specific user in the server or direct call, it’s possible that you may have changed the volume settings for an individual user!.If this issue only occurs in the specific channel or server, you may need to reach out to the server owner or admins to make sure you have the correct role or channel permissions and enable the following voice permissions:.Does this voice/audio/video issue happen in all servers, or only within a specific channel or server?.Additionally, it’s possible that you may have been Server Muted or Deafened by an admin or Server Owner! In these cases, you will need to reach out to the server owner or admins to remove the Server Mute or Deafen.First steps first, check if you have muted/deafened yourself or another user! You’ll be able to check this by seeing if the mic or headset icon has a slash across it or not.Sometimes if you identify these issues early on, you won’t have to try any other steps!
